I am a mathematician and programmer (C, C++, Python) working in the area of geometric mechanics, fluid dynamics, and robotics. My current interests include:
Geometric methods in mechanics: Lie group symmetries, momentum maps, reduction, bundles and connections, holonomy and geometric phases
Dynamical systems, nonlinear mechanics, and Koopmanism
High-performance scientific computing with C/C++/Python, CUDA, SQLite
Unsteady hydrodynamics of fishlike swimming using boundary-element methods
CFD for viscous incompressible flows; in particular, immersed-boundary methods
Reduced-order modeling via proper orthogonal decomposition (POD), dynamic mode decomposition (DMD), and related techniques
Feedback control of robotic and fluid-dynamic systems
